Back in 2002, this place was still known as The Roxy. It was a couple days before Halloween so there were a lot of people in costume. I was/am a big fan of Andrew W.K.’s first two records so was excited to see him. The place was mobbed so my brother and I went up on the balcony and ended up sitting on a table, had a pretty good view.

What stinks is we were exhausted after AWK. He was the third band on. We left – and the closer was Flogging Molly. I regret that to this day, but I just didn’t know of them back then.
