I heard that Extreme was reuniting for a free show in Boston during the “Taste of Boston” in Government Center. My brother wanted to go, but couldn’t get home in time. I drove and went alone.

It was amazing. I love these guys. The picture is from another show they did in 2004. I can find NOTHING of this show existing except an empty setlist page that says it did happen.

I remember calling my dad so he could hear “More Than Words” over the phone. It was a flip phone without a camera. Sadly. It was 2004, what do you want?

At that time Pat Badger was not part of the reunion but drummer Paul Geary was. Paul as since retired and Pat returned to the band shortly after.

Dropkick Murphys were there, but I showed up just as they were finishing so I don’t count that as seeing them in concert.
