Besides taking my wife to her first Harry Connick Jr. concert – this was probably the best of them all.

The show itself was great of course, but it was afterwards that really sold it as the best. We walked out and if we turned one way, we would have never known. But leaving Symphony Hall, we turned to walk towards our car and saw a group of people standing around a bus.

We figured, why not wait and see what happens?

She freaked when a guy said, “Okay, line up here if you want to meet Harry.”

They said no photographs, but I snuck one just to prove we were there.

He also signed her ticket, which I believe hung on our fridge for months.
