Yikes! This concert is 30 years ago at the time I am typing this. I was a freshman at Fitchburg State and Megadeth was playing at the Wallace Civic Center, which was in walking distance from my dorm. I was able to talk one other guy to go with me – though I have no memory of what his name was.

This is the first time I just walked up and bought a ticket at the door. It was basically general admission, either for the stands or on the floor – it’s where Fitchburg played hockey.

COC opened for them. The first time I’d ever been offered a joint (I just said no, kids).

First of many future Megadeth shows. Never did go see the hockey team though.
