Two things stand out about this concert. The first one is that my brother and I could not pass up the chance to see the original Iron Maiden signer – the metal legend himself – Paul Di’Anno.

The second one being the weather was terrible that night and yet we braved the snow to drive all the way to Foxboro to see this. The venue was called “Showcase Live” which was basically a spin-off venue of the Showcase Cinema. It closed a few years back and is now an eSports venue.

The show was great – I can’t find any photos or video that I took (though I know I did on some terrible cell phone). Thankfully someone posted this:

The opening band was Icarus Witch who I remember being a fun, good sounding metal band. They’re still around today. The cool thing is – they were also Di’Anno’s backing band, so shortly after their set, Paul came out and brought it with classic Maiden!
