Finally! After 32 years I was seeing Anthrax again! They were the first ever band I saw live – and now I get to see them headline a show.

They were fantastic – Joey still sounds so good. They were celebrating their 40th anniversary.

We’re all so old now.

I’ve seen Black Label Society in the past, but that was during a long Ozzfest day. This time I was able to enjoy them more. Watching Zakk as the front man of this band, I almost forgot – oh he’s an excellent guitarist who has worked with Ozzy for decades!

Was cool to see Exodus again. I don’t really know them, but I appreciate their place in American thrash metal.

And I bought a new Anthrax shirt just for this occasion.
