I was big into the Bosstones starting in high school and through college. Still like them! Got a chance to go see them at a mini-festival at what at was still known as Great Woods. I was somewhat familiar with some bands, new L7, and who didn’t know Offspring.

I remember people in the lawn seats throwing grass to the point where Dicky from the Bosstones (who I met earlier walking around and got him to sign my ticket) had to come out and ask the psychos to stop or they’d shut us down.

Went with my girlfriend at the time – who is my wife of 25 years in a couple months. She loved the Bosstones too and enjoyed Offspring.

Somebody posted this shirt on reddit – I totally had it!

I remember seeing Tree, Bim Skala Bim and L7. Setlist.fm says AFI was there too but I think we missed them.
