I found this book at my local library. I have seen books by the author, T. Kingfisher, on different sites and stores but this is my first time reading one of her books. I did not realize this was originally a self-published story from 2013 and was just this year being published in physical format. So kudos to my library for having it out there in the new releases.
It’s a short book (novella, I guess) so I read it fairly quickly (for me, while also having another project in June that is taking up a lot of my time). I think my only complaint is that I wanted more time with these characters and more time in this world. So really, no complaints!
So much fun. Great characters and a great story packed into about 150 pages. I wish there were sequels though. I want more of the Whinin’ Niners!
As I mentioned, this is my first book by Kingfisher – but now I am going to be on the look out to read more from her.
