What Mike's Reading

I don’t think I liked this one as much as the original – and yet by the end I was totally ready for the third part (finale? Or just next in the series?) that comes out later this year.

The word was definitely expanded upon to make it a bigger story, which I like. I also liked finding more about our main hero. Part of me thought – wait, didn’t they learn from last time?

But maybe that’s the point – they never do!

I read a bunch of this last night and while reading in general makes me sleepy, there was a big moment i did not see coming that had me sit up (metaphorically) and get a second-wind to read more.

Didn’t “fly through this” like I felt I did with the first one, but I still read it pretty quickly (and it’s a fairly short story to begin with).

And as I said – I am totally in for part III.
